5 Pop Culture Categories to Help Name Your New Pet!

Pet owners spend a lot of time trying to come up with the perfect name for their new addition. Naming pets, as a trend, seems to follow current Pop Culture phenomena. As a result, people refer to their favorite movies and shows for inspiration. I’m here to share my top 5 Pop Culture categories to help in naming your new pet!

So, what is in a name? Owners often ask themselves this very question when adding a new member to the family. Interestingly enough, the thing about naming pets is that people have the freedom to get very creative in the process. If you are so inclined, you can make it a funny name, or a serious one. Just remember, creativity is key to a memorable name.

Why is Pop Culture so prevalent? Simply put, it is the vernacular of popular culture of the people. It serves as a great conversation starter and pulls people together. In addition, the trends are something we all share in common. Have you ever had a lengthy discussion about a show or a movie the next day at work, or at school? That is the kind of Pop Culture phenomena that I am referring to. Basically, it is, “What are we all into these days?”

Below I am going to list the top 5 Pop Culture influences that I am most drawn to, and a list of pet names that go with each one. Understand that these choices are mine alone, and may not reflect everyone’s top choices. However, I think they are some of the best ones.
